Key Vote Alert: Yes on Keystone XL
Vote h16-2015

This week the House will vote on H.R. 3, the Keystone XL Pipeline Act. After more than six years of study and delay, this bill would allow the Keystone XL pipeline to be built across the U.S.-Canadian border. For years, President Obama has refused to decide if allowing the pipeline to be built is in the “national interest.” Allowing a pipeline to be built from Canada into the United States is in the national interest.

The Keystone XL pipeline will create thousands of construction jobs. The additional oil means new manufacturing jobs in the United States and it means more stable oil prices. All of this means a more robust economy in the United States and Canada and greater energy security.

Besides creating jobs, transporting oil by pipeline is the safest, most efficient, most environmental friendly way of transporting oil. In other words, there are no downsides to allowing the pipeline to be built.

The American Energy Alliance supports H.R. 3. YES IS THE PRO-ENERGY, PRO-ENVIRONMENT, AND PRO-FREEDOM VOTE.
